It's not like her to be so nervous, especially when it comes down to talking to her own father! Pull yourself together, Clarith! she mentally rebukes herself, taking in a deep breath to steel herself. She then decides to psyche herself up by doing her signature pose, along with her catchphrase of I'll do my best!, and then presses the call button before she can chicken out.

As it starts to ring, she can feel the anxiety start to creep back upon her again, but does her best to ignore it as she waits for him to pick up. ]
