[Hinata can't help blushing a little bit as he feels the air brush the inside of his wrist, the yellow soulmark in the shape of a six-pointed star exposed for the world to see. Usually he keeps it wrapped up when he isn't wearing anything with long sleeves, but now... Now that he's found his soulmate, he really doesn't need to anymore. He can display it proudly, if a little bashfully, for everyone else's eyes.
He's never considered romance all that much until he met Nanami Chiaki. He figured he'd go through his life and maybe if he was really lucky, he'd meet the person he was supposedly destined to love. No one had told him that if he were to see the matching soulmark on another's wrist after literally bump into the girl, that his heart would start to race and his whole chest would ache. Nobody had ever told Hinata how she would say yes when he asked her out, and how he would feel complete.
Stopping in front of her door, Hinata is still probably blushing because his face certainly feels hot... This is only their third planned date or so, unless curling up with Nanami on the couch and feeling like he's on top of the world while she's just playing Gala Omega counted as one. But Hinata isn't quite sure that it does, so it still has him a little bit worried, not wanting to mess things up when it's all still so new for them.
But... Being around Nanami feels natural. It feels right, and he wouldn't trade that for anything else. So if he has to get over his own embarrassment in order for that to happen, then so be it.
Hinata gathers his courage, raises the back of his hand to the door, and knocks.]
[ It's not particularly immediate, but Nanami does answer the door with haste when she hears Hinata's voice. When she had first seen her soulmark, she thought the chances of actually meeting her soulmate were slim to none, so slim that she didn't even think it was possible that someone like her could have a soulmate, that it had to have been some sort of mistake. After all, the only thing she had were her games. How could her talent possibly lead her to her soulmate when it couldn't even earn her friends...?
...The day that she (literally) bumped into Hinata Hajime, she had been proven wrong; and the more she reflects on it now, the more she's glad that she was proven wrong. There was nothing to tell her that he was the person she was destined to be with; she had bumped into people numerous times before then, too engaged in her video games to pay attention, so she had no reason to believe that encounter would be any different. Yet, there were several things different about Hinata, and it wasn't just the fact that his soulmark matched hers.
She fully understands why he's her soulmate because he is the very first person she's ever met that she truly can connect with. He's the first person who played and could recognize a classic like Gala Omega, the first person she could enthuse over games to and would mostly understand what she was talking about, and the first person who could sit there at her side even while she was enthralled in a game and actually be content. Never did she think she would meet someone that could make her so happy and understand her, and that's why she looks forward to every moment that she spends with Hinata. She doesn't need anything fancy, nor does she want him to go out of his way for her; just being with him is enough for her.
Nanami opens the door with a bright - if a tad shy - smile, her own cheeks tinged with a faint pink. ]
Hinata-kun!
[ Just saying his name is enough to make her heart flutter within her chest, and she fidgets slightly, shifting her grip on the door. ]
Hello. I'm...really happy to see you. [ Her face reddens a bit more and she looks sheepish as she says that, but it's an earnest confession. ] Do you want to come in?
[Hinata's face colors instantly.] I-I'm... really happy to see you, too...
[He's still really nervous, but just talking to her warms his heart already.] S-sure, though, I could come inside... [That Does Not Help the color on his cheeks, because he is going into his girlfriend's house. But he swallows down the nerves and follows her in.] I know we were going to go out later for dinner, but... We could do some games first if you wanted?
[Honestly, he'd be okay with doing whatever as long as it's with her. No matter what she decides, he'll be happy with it.]
Mm, I was actually in the middle of trying to ward off the Infected...
[ She says offhandedly, making her way back to her room...by which she means she was playing Left 4 Dead 2because Nena is good at coming up with games. ]
You can join me, if you'd like. I'm sure if Hinata-kun and I work together, we'll survive the zombie apocalypse for sure! [ Though, the more she thinks about it, the more she thinks that a game about slaughtering zombies isn't exactly appropriate to play before a date, hmm. ] ...Ah, but I don't mind playing something else, if you want. We could always go with the classic Mario Party...that one might be better. Playing Mario Kart before a date might cause some problems.
[Hinata manages a nod and sheepish chuckle. Probably best not to ruin friendships relationships before the first date.] Y-yeah, maybe... we could pass on the Mario Kart. [Mario Party could get pretty intense too, but...] If you feel like it, I'd be fine with whatever. Both party games and zombie games are cool with me, so...
[And it's here, here that he flushes and scratches at the back of his neck.] I mean... I wanted today to be about you, so as long as it's something you have fun doing, I'll have fun doing it too. [His hearts feeling so exposed... So Hinata does the next best thing and teases a little bit to take the attention off of himself.] Just no fighting games or I won't treat you tonight.
[ It's there that Nanami stops walking, looking over her shoulder towards Hinata. She doesn't say anything just yet, as if she's contemplating on what to say, but after a moment, she turns around fully to face him and gives him a sheepish smile. ] Mm...just playing games with Hinata-kun is enough for me to have fun. It doesn't matter to me what game we play as long as I'm playing it with you. Even if the game itself is terrible... [ She steps towards him, reaching out to take his hand in hers. ] ...as long as you're by my side, Hinata-kun, I'll have fun.
[ She falls silent, allowing herself to bask in the moment of holding his hand - not to mention, she feels a little embarrassed saying something like that to him, but it's the truth, and she wants him to know that. Even if saying something like that makes her heart flutter in her chest or makes her cheeks burn with pink, she'll tell him that time and time again, because she wants him to know that she genuinely enjoys spending time with him. Even if they weren't doing anything, she would always be happy to spend time with Hinata. ]
...But okay. I'll spare you of a fighting game this time.
[ It's followed by a faint laugh as she turns around and makes her way towards her room again, not letting go of his hand just yet. ]
Although, since it's you...I think you could do it if you gave it a try.
[Ah... His heart is pounding really hard... Can she feel it from where their hands are clasped together?] It's... the same for me, too. As long as you're with me, I'll be happy. [He wants to say more, but his mouth feels clumsy and his heart so full, and Hinata's afraid of spilling his feelings out all over the floor. He makes a small attempt still, though.] As long as we're together, then... That's all I really need.
[He's pretty content watching the scenery, which turns out to be the pink on her face and the way her lips move as she talks - teasing him, oh God, that just leaves him stuck between being embarrassed and finding it endearing and he doesn't know which is more compromising. But it catches him off guard when she starts pulling him and-
...Oh. They're going towards her room. That is, of course, a logical conclusion he should have made. But still. That is Nanami's room and they're walking towards it-]
I-I'll try it next time if you really want me to. But, um. Nanami. [He can bring this up subtly, no problems here.] You... don't mind me going in your room?
[ For a long while after his declaration, Nanami doesn't say anything. It isn't that she doesn't want to, but rather she doesn't know what to say. She's already said that she shares the same sentiments towards him, but to hear him say it in return...she hadn't been expecting that, but it makes her swell with sheer happiness. A tinge of embarrassment, too, but a bashful type of embarrassment. Nanami gently squeezes his hand and says softly, a certain shyness in her voice: ] Do you...really feel that way, Hinata-kun? [ A pause, but then she continues. ] Ah...it makes me so happy to hear you say those things...
[ At his question, she doesn't stop walking this time, but she does tilt her head slightly. ] ...Hm? [ The lilt as she says it shows that she's confused by his question. Nanami doesn't see any reason why she should mind him entering her room, honestly. After all, they're dating, and even if they weren't, it's still Hinata. He's someone important to her, someone she still considers her best friend even if they've moved on to the romantic stage in their relationship. It doesn't yet register to her that his concerns are because he's a boy and she's a girl, and the two of them would be alone in her room. ]
Weren't we going to play games? My consoles are in my room. [ Another pause, and then she asks: ] Did you not want to play anymore? If you'd rather go on with the date, then I don't really mind.
[ Though, she'd be a little deflated about not playing games. ]
N-no, it's not...! [Oh God, she doesn't get it. Of course she wouldn't... He knows he's probably pretty far gone when he finds it endearing more than anything else.
But Hinata sighs a little. The red that's been on his face since before hasn't left yet, and thinking about this doesn't bring it anywhere closer to fading.] I do still want to play games with you, it's just... [He thinks about trying to explain it, for a moment. Then promptly lets the thought die.] No, never mind. I just... thought of something dumb, it's fine.
[He lets his thumb swipe the back of her hand, and that makes his heartbeats pick up almost as much as the thought of going in her room did.] I really am happy with you, though. And that's why it's fine, because I'll be happy no matter what we do together.
[It still catches him a little off guard, if he stops to think about it. No one else has brought him happiness like this before.
With Nanami... She makes him feel alive like no one else has before.]
[ Nanami only continues to look at him in confusion as he fumbles for the right words to say, but she decides to drop the issue when he tells her not to mind it. Boys could really be strange sometimes...but now that she knows there's no problem, she continues to walk. It's not that far from her room, so they arrive in a matter of seconds.
She doesn't let go of his hand just yet, though. She faces him and lets their arms swing a bit, quiet for a moment. Even though she just heard him say it moments before, it still warms her heart to hear him say again that he enjoys spending time with her. Is this what love is...? She's never felt this way before, and quite frankly she's always been bad with the emotion. Even dating sims, where the characters were fictional, she was never good at love. However, Hinata's different. Being with him opened her eyes to what love was. With him, for once she doesn't feel scared or nervous; everything feels natural with him.
That's why she leans up a bit, close to his face, looking into his eyes. Ah, she feels like she could get lost in them...but she doesn't mind letting them swallow her. Her voice is quiet and a little embarrassed, but it's resolute as she suddenly asks: ]
...Hinata-kun, could--could we...
[ Asking this question is a little embarrassing, but she knows she really wants to. ]
Do you think...you could kiss me? [ A pause. ] I-I mean...we've been dating for a while, and we haven't yet...but only if you want to.
please excuse me being a cheating cheater with icons and also using SDR2!Nanami
[His head feels light as he follows her into her room, to the point that it feels like he could float away even as she swings their joined hands. It's such a simple gesture, but it feels so good.
There's something in him that's been so hard to kill completely, something that wonders if he's good enough and worthy of this, but the rightness of being with her is louder than that these days. Even the darkest thoughts, the ones that had made him anxious to the point of being sick, are being torn down more and more as he spends time with her. The mark on the back of his hand is a pleasant weight that marks him as hers - marks him as belonging, and perhaps that's what he'd needed all of these years, instead of just his parents' ire and disappointment, to make those awful feelings start to fade. Maybe instead of trying to fulfill all the expectations placed on him and hoping that would make him feel complete, something in him had just been waiting for Nanami to come and fill up all the empty and broken places inside him.
So that's why, as she gets close and asks if he can kiss her, his breath still catches and he can hear his heartbeat storming in his ears - and they're nerves, of course they are because it's him and he's always messed everything up in his life ever-
but-
yours yours yours mine yours mine love me love me you're so perfect I need you I want you stay with me always love me love me I love you I love you-
That tangle is louder than anything else could ever be.
Hinata leans close, forehead pressing to hers, and his breath rushes out of him like he's surfacing from being underwater.] Chiaki. [He should be worried about using first name without asking, worried about getting so close to her without even properly responding, worried that he's moving them along too fast and screwing things up once again.
But he doesn't.
He folds down to her like he's caught in the wave of an ocean, warmth pulsing on the back of his hand, and presses his lips against hers.
He isn't Hinata (why aren't your grades better i'm so disappointed in you go to your room no dinner do better not good enough).
He's just Hajime. Soulmate, boyfriend, in love. Hajime and Chiaki, and it's more perfect than he deserves, but it's all he'll ever want or need.]
[ That tiny utterance is all she can manage when he suddenly moves in, close enough that their foreheads touch. This is the closest she's ever physically been to Hinata before, and...it's a little nerve-wracking, honestly. Not in a terrible way, of course, but in the sort of way where she can feel butterflies fluttering around in her stomach right now. It doesn't help when he says her name, either; her given name, rather than her family name. Her face flushes a deep red from embarrassment, but it sounds so nice, though, hearing her name from his lips.
And it feels even better feeling those same pair of lips touch hers. For a moment, she freezes; even though she had been the one to ask him, even though she had anticipated that he would kiss her, at the same time she hadn't really prepared herself for it to happen. However, after a couple of seconds of standing there stiffly, she melts into the kiss--no, into him. She squeezes his hands gently, doing nothing more than basking in the moment. She had seen kiss scenes occasionally in her video games, sometimes playing through the dating sims she was so terrible at, but never did she think it would feel this magical...
...Or maybe it's just Hinata. There's a lot of things that she's learning about romance that didn't seem so appealing to her until she started dating him. There's a lot of things that she's starting to appreciate more now that she's with him. Even playing video games, her lifelong passion, seemed to have a brand new spark once she started playing them with him. It's almost as though Hinata had a certain charm to him that made the world a lot more vivid.
She'll wait for him to break away, not wanting to pull out of it any sooner than he was willing to, but when he eventually does, she smiles warmly at him. ]
[He makes a small noise in the back of his throat - or Hinata thinks he does, it's so hard to be aware of anything else right now but the way Nanami is pressing against him with her lips and her hand. He shifts his fingers so hers can slide between and Hinata shivers, hard. He never wants this to stop.
But eventually they have to, because breathing is kind of important maybe, and Hinata definitely makes a reluctant sound as they both part. He can't bring himself to go far, though, just with his forehead pressed to hers. His heart aches in the best way.
He lets out a breathless chuckle at her question, though, and the throatiness of his own voice when he responds makes Hinata flush even more.] Of course you can. I should've asked before, but... [Oh, he is about to get really red.] I like saying your given name. And I... [His eyes dart away for a second, because he can't say something so embarrassing and just look right at her.] I like the way my name sounds when you say it.
It's okay. [ Nanami gives him a warm smile, shifting her attention to the feeling of their fingers being intertwined. She honestly doesn't mind that Hinata didn't ask first, and a part of her is glad that he took the initiative in breaking that barrier between them, but she's also a little embarrassed when she says in return: ] ...I like hearing you say it, too. And...I also like saying your name. It's nice.
[ THIS IS THE SOUND OF HER PEOPLE..... of course, in Hinamizawa, Rika can't help but sing that single word as if it were a song or melody. And maybe to Rika, it sort of is. Nevertheless, while she's wandering around almost aimlessly she notices someone who looks rather out of place. Rather, they look like someone who isn't from Hinamizawa to begin with, so when she spots her, she can't help but cant her head to the side, blinking several times in confusion.
It's not just the fact that they're so out of place that makes her blink, but the fact that she bears quite a resemblance to herself. ]
Mii?
[ She's not even going to ask who are you properly; that single word she speaks should be enough to speak for itself, in her opinion. ]
[ Furudo Erika's little grey cells were itching. Her conversation with Lady Lambdadelta made her curious about the fragment her master had come from, about the excruciating hell that is a logic error that she had suffered for what seemed like an eternity - the one that had morphed her master into the cruel and heartless one she knew today. As a detective who sought the truth, her brain wasn't satisfied with mere hearsay; she had to discover it herself, had to unravel each and every layer shroud of mystery until the truth was entirely exposed...!
It was due to Lambdadelta's generosity (read: she only granted her request because she decided it would sate her boredom) that she had sent her to the fragment of Hinamizawa, the gameboard that her master played on as a piece. So here she was, entirely alone, without the support of her master, Lady Lambdadelta, or even her Furniture. She had nothing to rely on besides her own brain. This was already proving to be more difficult than sacrificing the Detective's Authority during her game with Battler. But-- ]
Lady Lambdadeltaaaaa! Are you watchiiiiing...?! [ She shouts at the sky with her arms extended, not at all seeming to notice how insane she must seem right now. ] I, Furudo Erika, the great detective and the Witch of Truth, will not fail in solving this mystery! I will discover the truth behind my master's origins...! I assure you, I will not disappoint youuuu-- ...ah.
[ It's only then that she notices the girl staring at her, and she had just made such a spectacle of herself, too. She clears her throat, trying to save face as she turns around and gives Rika a pleasant smile. She, on the other hand, is not perturbed by the fact that they share a resemblance. She was fashioned after her master, after all, so this must be her master as a piece. It would be strange to bring that up all of a sudden, so she'll just pretend she's a stranger for now. ]
[ Even though she looks rather insane with the way she's yelling all of that out to the open sky, the moment she says witch is the moment that something clicks in her head. Of course, she isn't entirely certain if saying that actually meant her suspicions were correct, so she would have to wring it out of Erika, one way or another.
Well, that along with the fact that she yelled out her full name, something that was rather similar to her own.
Rika's not stupid, after all; she knows that one plus one equals two and two coincidences make it rather suspicious. But that's okay. Rika just smiles at Erika before speaking. ]
[ "Mii"...? How...saccharine. Could her master really come from such a cutesy little girl like this? Could this girl truly become the cold, callous Bernkastel? Erika fights back the urge to scrunch her nose in disgust, and if she didn't know any better, she'd think that Lambdadelta was pranking her by sending her to this fragment. She almost expects the witch to pop out before her, going "Ahahahahaha...! Did you re~ally think I'd let an insolent piece like you get to know Bern...? Only I will be the one to truly understand her♥! An insignificant piece like you should just be cast into oblivion forever...!"
...But that doesn't happen, so clearly this is the right fragment.
Though her mind is already beginning to formulate theories, she'll wait until she's gathered more clues before stating her answer aloud. So she smiles in return at the girl, her own just as sickeningly sweet as the girl's. ]
That is correct. My name is Furudo Erika. [ She holds out her dress on either side and dips into a curtsy, before rising to full stature. ] I may be an unexpected guest, but I hope that you'll treat me kindly.
also warnings for all higurashi and umineko games i guess...
[ Rika's own voice continues to remain pleasant as the smile that she plays upon her lips stays. There's no need for her to be rude, after all, not until she figures out who exactly this is and why she's here. But she doesn't allow any trace of suspicion to fall onto her features.
This girl isn't Takano, after all.
... probably. ]
My name is Furude Rika. It is nice to meet you. [ She bows politely, Japanese style from the waist down before beaming. ] If you want, I can give you a tour of Hinamizawa. Nipa~☆
[ So her master's former name was Furude Rika...now she sees why her master named her as such. She could pretend that it is a coincidence that they have matching names, but...it would be boring to put on that act. Besides, if this girl truly would become her master, that meant she was as intelligent as Bernkastel. She's sure that Rika's already caught on to their similarities and that this is more than mere coincidence. ]
It is a pleasure to meet you as well, Rika-san. [ She stops herself from giggling, but there's still a hint of amusement in her voice as she says that. ] A tour of Hinamizawa would be appreciated, < thank you. >
[ She'll just burn all the scenery into her photographic memory. ]
[ She definitely has. And she plans on talking to Hanyuu about these similarities later, unless she somehow manages to figure it out before then. Then again, she might yell at Hanyuu regardless. We'll see.
At least for now, she can keep up the act, even if she does note Erika's slight amusement and English usage. ]
Mii. [ That, my friends, is the sound of a child's joy. ] We're close to my place, so I'll show you the Furude Shrine first.
[ Not only is she speaking her claps, she is also actually literally clapping. Of course, it comes off as a little condescending but does it matter? Probably not. ]
That's right. It's also one of the main shrines where people worship Hinamizawa's diety god, Oyashiro-sama.
[ Seeing Erika swell with pride seems to amuse Rika, just a little bit, even if she doesn't show it. The fact that she'd be so proud over something so simple... it's just something that almost makes her want to giggle. But she has more self restraint than that, so instead, she just smiles. ]
Mii. [ That seems to be a yes. ] Oyashiro-sama is the guardian deity of Hinamizawa. In order to worship Oyashiro-sama properly, you have to give an offering at the shrine... mostly of really spicy things.
[ Now she's just being a little shit, sorry to say, Hanyuu. ]
If you invoke Oyashiro-sama's wrath, they'll get really angry and you might hear the 'auau' sounds that they make because of it. I'm also Oyashiro-sama's reincarnation, so you probably don't want to make me angry, either.
But don't worry, Erika, if you invoke Oyashiro-sama's wrath [ by attempting to feed Hanyuu spicy food ] I'll protect you. Nipa~☆
[That's- His brain can't handle it. Neither can his heart, and Hinata makes an embarrassed sound in the back of his throat as he ducks down to bury his face against her shoulder. How can she say that so earnestly, his name is as basic as it gets...
But he knows she is. Knows she's being completely honest right now, and it sends his heart whirling around like a merry-go-round. All he'll ever want, and all he'll ever need... It's right here with her.] Chiaki... Thank you. [Hinata already knows he's getting addicted to the feeling of her given name in his mouth, but he's not planning on doing anything to fix that necessarily. Oh, well.] And I'm... I'm glad.
[They should probably separate at some point, even if it's just to give each other some room to move around, but Hinata can't bring himself to. He doesn't want to be away from her now, not even for a second.]
Haha, what is this feeling...? [He cards a hand through his hair, redness of his flush getting deeper.] Sorry, it's just... I'm so embarrassing. I know we were supposed to have a good time playing games, but... I don’t even want to let you go. [He huffs out an amused breath over her shoulder.] Sorry, Chiaki, that you ended up with such an embarrassing boyfriend. [And then he lets his head tilt towards her, resting in the space between her neck and shoulder.] This... feels so nice, though...
[ Said with very thinly veiled skepticism, but apart from that, she doesn't seem to argue against Rika's words. She's being on her best behavior...for now, at least. While she usually wouldn't pass on the opportunity of putting her little grey cells to work in an intellectual debate, she doesn't see much benefit in her arguing the existence of Oyashiro-sama. It wouldn't be nearly as gratifying as when she went against Maria and crushed her dreams, after all. ]
Then, I will try not to anger this Oyashiro-sama. [ "Try" being the operative word here. Maybe she should try placing some spicy foods at the shrine later, just to see what happens. Her curiosity is piqued now, and she's not afraid of something that hasn't proved itself to exist. ] Or yourself, Rika-san. It would be terrible if I were to be cursed or struck down by them, after all. Perhaps they'd smite me with lightning, or inflict me with an incurable disease of some sort, or perhaps...they'd spirit me away...?
[ Very thinly veiled. ]
Now, are we done here? I'd like to see the rest your town has to offer.
Please do your best. I wouldn't want a visitor to get demoned away and never have to come back again...
[ That would look pretty bad on their town. Even though their town sometimes looks bad due to the whole 'curse' thing that just ended rather recently, thanks to everyone's efforts in creating a miracle. ]
We're done. The next place to check is probably the school, then the swamp, and then we can visit my favorite spot in all of Hinamizawa!
Excellent. I admit, I'm rather curious to know what this favorite spot of yours is, Rika-san.
[ But she's a lady...in manners, anyway. She won't be impatient to hurry the girl, and besides, Erika thinks it's boring to rush straight to the end anyways. ]
[ It's a rather cheeky little answer, but it's one that Rika gives with a smile nevertheless. But she does lead the way nevertheless; it's a bit unfortunate that she can't play a game with her footsteps the way she did before, but she can skip rather happily like a child would. ]
Mii. The school is a little small, but this is the one I go to. There's only one class for everyone with mixed ages, so it's a little different than the schools you'd expect.
Nanami Chiaki | SOULMATE AU AYYYYYY and newly dating-ish
He's never considered romance all that much until he met Nanami Chiaki. He figured he'd go through his life and maybe if he was really lucky, he'd meet the person he was supposedly destined to love. No one had told him that if he were to see the matching soulmark on another's wrist after literally bump into the girl, that his heart would start to race and his whole chest would ache. Hinata gathers his courage, raises the back of his hand to the door, and knocks.]
Nanami? Are you home?
aaa i need to canon review but take this for now
...The day that she (literally) bumped into Hinata Hajime, she had been proven wrong; and the more she reflects on it now, the more she's glad that she was proven wrong.

] Do you want to come in?
super late but wraps it up in a blanket
[He's still really nervous, but just talking to her warms his heart already.] S-sure, though, I could come inside... [That Does Not Help the color on his cheeks, because he is going into his girlfriend's house. But he swallows down the nerves and follows her in.] I know we were going to go out later for dinner, but... We could do some games first if you wanted?
[Honestly, he'd be okay with doing whatever as long as it's with her. No matter what she decides, he'll be happy with it.]
shh you're never late ♥
[ She says offhandedly, making her way back to her room...by which she means she was playing Left 4 Dead 2
because Nena is good at coming up with games.]You can join me, if you'd like.
[ Looking at you, Rainbow Road. ]
thank you friend ヽ(;▽;)ノ
friendshipsrelationships before the first date.] Y-yeah, maybe... we could pass on the Mario Kart. [Mario Party could get pretty intense too, but...] If you feel like it, I'd be fine with whatever. Both party games and zombie games are cool with me, so...[And it's here, here that he flushes and scratches at the back of his neck.] I mean... I wanted today to be about you, so as long as it's something you have fun doing, I'll have fun doing it too. [His hearts feeling so exposed... So Hinata does the next best thing and teases a little bit to take the attention off of himself.] Just no fighting games or I won't treat you tonight.
[He's kidding, of course...
Probably.]no problem ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡
Although, since it's you...I think you could do it if you gave it a try.
wonks at you and this typo is intentional
[
Nailed it.]wink wonk
!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She makes him feel alive like no one else has before.]
c:
CONTINUES YELLING...
Hinata-ku-- [ ... ] Ah, no...Hajime.
[ She glances down, looking a little sheepish. ]
It's...okay if I call you that, right...?
YELLS WITH YOU.........
And I... [His eyes dart away for a second, because he can't say something so embarrassing and just look right at her.] I like the way my name sounds when you say it.
hinanami is suffering
erika; also let's go with first meeting
shrugs uncertainly?!
...Good afternoon, miss.
no subject
Well, that along with the fact that she yelled out her full name, something that was rather similar to her own.
Rika's not stupid, after all; she knows that one plus one equals two and two coincidences make it rather suspicious. But that's okay. Rika just smiles at Erika before speaking. ]
Mii. ☆ Good afternoon. Are you new here?
no subject
...But that doesn't happen, so clearly this is the right fragment.
Nipa~☆
honestly...
no subject
At least for now, she can keep up the act, even if she does note Erika's slight amusement and English usage. ]
Mii. [ That, my friends, is the sound of a child's joy. ] We're close to my place, so I'll show you the Furude Shrine first.
no subject
[ Of course she's correct, but she wants to be praised anyway. Please praise her, not!master ;; ]
no subject
[ Not only is she speaking her claps, she is also actually literally clapping. Of course, it comes off as a little condescending but does it matter? Probably not. ]
That's right. It's also one of the main shrines where people worship Hinamizawa's diety god, Oyashiro-sama.
no subject
Hmhm...of course. It was an obvious association that even an ignoramus would be able to piece it together.
[ See how far Furudo Erika's reasoning has taken her!! ]
But I see. Could you tell me more about this...Oyashiro-sama?
no subject
Nipa~☆
resumes suffering
[And then he lets his head tilt towards her, resting in the space between her neck and shoulder.] This... feels so nice, though...
no subject
I'd like to see the rest your town has to offer.
no subject
[ That would look pretty bad on their town. Even though their town sometimes looks bad due to the whole 'curse' thing that just ended rather recently, thanks to everyone's efforts in creating a miracle. ]
We're done. The next place to check is probably the school, then the swamp, and then we can visit my favorite spot in all of Hinamizawa!
no subject
[ But she's a lady...in manners, anyway. She won't be impatient to hurry the girl, and besides, Erika thinks it's boring to rush straight to the end anyways. ]
After you.
no subject
[ It's a rather cheeky little answer, but it's one that Rika gives with a smile nevertheless. But she does lead the way nevertheless; it's a bit unfortunate that she can't play a game with her footsteps the way she did before, but she can skip rather happily like a child would. ]
Mii. The school is a little small, but this is the one I go to. There's only one class for everyone with mixed ages, so it's a little different than the schools you'd expect.
