However, after a couple of seconds of standing there stiffly, she melts into the kiss--no, into him. She squeezes his hands gently, doing nothing more than basking in the moment. She had seen kiss scenes occasionally in her video games, sometimes playing through the dating sims she was so terrible at, but never did she think it would feel this magical...

There's a lot of things that she's starting to appreciate more now that she's with him.
